Am I Obsessing?...

Since my first fill on January 5, I have noticed little to no weight loss inspite my effort to eat healthier during the week (weekends I tend to splurge a little).  I am definitely lossing inches because my clothes are becoming baggier.  I have to admit that I haven't been able to get more exercise in but I do walk more at work and when out in public - i.e. farther away from store. But what gives with the lack of weight loss when I get on the scale ( try to weight in at least once a week)? This morning at work, two of my  coworkers were staring and mentioned that it looks like I've loss some weight.  Of course me with my "flip" mouth, stated that I have been trying to eat healthier.  I just think that after nearly two months, I should be seeing more results then appx. 13 lbs.!!! So my question is am I obsessing over the weight loss thingy?

Yup, sistah!  I think you're obsessing over the scale.  I know 'cuz I do it too.  I got my band about a month before you and I've lost 25 lbs.  I had my first fill December 21st and lost about 4.5 lbs during the next month.  Not as much as I would have liked.  But I didn't really feel any restriction.  I just got another fill yesterday so I'm up to 1.5 cc's and hope I feel something more from this one.  These first few months require a lot of patience - more for some of us than others.  But, I do believe it will get better once we get to that elusive "sweet spot".  Hang it there.  You are doing lots to improve your health and the scale will follow.
